Why the same topic keeps coming back

A topic returns on an expanding schedule: a few days, then a week, then longer, each review timed to land just before the point you would start to forget it.

It feels repetitive precisely when it is working. A review that feels too easy arrived slightly late; the schedule then widens so the next one comes further out.

If reviews have piled up after time away, see what happens if we take a break.
