Parent and child accounts

A parent account owns the household. It does not learn here itself unless you opt it in; it creates and manages child logins, each with their own course, goals and progress.

Supervisors come in two levels. View only sees progress reports and activity logs. Full control also manages goals, accommodations, the subscription, purchases and the knowledge profile. Add supervisors in Settings.

A parent email is required when creating a child account. It is the notice channel required for children's privacy compliance, and it is how account recovery works. See the Privacy Policy for what is collected and why.
